JOURNEYING TOGETHER IN UNISON

Over the centuries, our ancestors have witnessed and experienced countless wars, battles among countries and terrorism. Despite the evolution that the world has undergone for the betterment of its citizens, the world is still filled with hatred, terrorism, environmental pollution and political problems.

So, we, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Coy Girl Guides & 12th Unit Rangers are proud to present to you the theme, “Journeying Together in Unison” for the 2015 Gathering in conjunction with our 94 years of guiding in school.

The theme, “Journeying Together in Unison” can be defined as:

JOURNEYING 

To travel from one place to another involving a long period and possibly through difficult circumstances. 

TOGETHER

 With or in proximity to another person or people

IN

UNISON

 Being together in harmony, existing as a whole collectively.

Basically, the theme means we, who live in a multiracial society and come from a diversity of backgrounds can unite in solidarity to establish world peace and harmony.

The key to make the world a better place is to unite the young minds of our generation today. These future leaders will determine the future of Mother Earth. Let us all join our hands and minds to actualise this goal. Let us heal the world as one big family.

As guides and rangers, it is our responsibility to help one another to achieve peace together. Rome was not built in a day thus peace among us cannot be obtained in the blink of an eye. Let us journey together in unison to achieve our common goal of world peace and reach the destination of utopia that we desire.
